                                           William Reyland

William began writing during a self seeking empty nest period spanning ten years across Asia, publishing in his cultural and travel perspectives, and eventually releasing his first book, Sons of Isan, Taking Refuge in a Thai Temple. Sons of Isan chronicles William's year in a Thai temple as a layman and monk and continues to enjoy accolades from critics and readers alike.

His new book, All My Best Friends are Dead: A Buddhist Chaplain’s Path to be released in Spring 2025, promises readers a unique and lighthearted perspective of the daily life a Buddhist Hospice Chaplain working in the conservative belly of the Midwest.
